  While the food is always exceptional (their cheese steak grinder is miraculous), there are two very different restaurant experiences at The Three Figs.
  
  If you have the opportunity to eat in the bar or the fireplace room, it is a 5 star experience. The service, food, and ambiance give the feeling of a great Irish Pub, and I often find myself eating their to forget the New England winter. (5 star.)
  
  However, if you end up in the hall in the back, it feels more like a cafeteria than the great restaurant it is. The room is cold, loud, and the service is generally slower since it is overflow from the main rooms. (1 star.)
  
  In short, when we can get into the bar or fireplace room, it is the place my wife and I go for dates. When we have to sit in the backroom, we go somewhere else.

  Great Chargrilled Wings.
  The menu looks great and looking forward to trying some of the chefs creations. Added a very good Iceberg Wedge to my Wings. The non-breaded Buffalo wings were very good also. The selection of craft draft beers is excellent. The Stony Creek white stout was exceptional and my first ever. On the downside, though the staff was very friendly, the barkeep didn't have her game on. I had to ask for silverware after the food was served and for a beer refill. No follow-up on the wings. Attention to detail and anticipation to guest needs is fundamental to a quality experience. Although common sense in the food server industry, proper training in hospitality 101 is on the management
